The Beach Houses is a 15-townhouse development perched high on Kirra Point Headland, with spectacular northern views across the Pacific Ocean to Surfers Paradise. The project intent for the Beach Houses was to create private and comfortable town houses that are aligned with their costal setting. We investigated a standard multi residential approach to this site and found that lowering the density heightened the value. Each of the 15 villas are designed to afford private space and long views. These houses are clustered into 3 groups stepping down the site to nestle into the topography. This approach minimises the impact on neighbours and provides privacy for all. Tailored to its context, the beach houses are a fitting addition to their scenic environment.
