The two latest additions to the Kingsford Terrace masterplan are Francis and Lingrove. They supplement Duporth as the first stage and begin the formation of the major central courtyard for this retirement community. The buildings are 5 and 6 storeys, incorporating 48 apartments of various sizes and configurations. Francis is a “single stacked” apartment block with private courtyards on ground. Lingrove commands long views to the east and north to the city. The central courtyard is the major lung for the community with extensive seating areas and is predominantly deep planting. It is flanked by a semi-enclosed communal space for informal entertaining and performances. This area acts as support for the main community areas in Duporth.
